The Global Call to Action opens the coalition’s International Year of Women Farmers 2026 initiative. Aligned with the IYWF 2026 slogan, "Empowered young women, transforming agrifood systems," it recognizes youth and young women farmers as agents of change and leaders of agrifood systems transformation.
The session sets the stage for the coalition’s four thematic discussions, spanning digital innovation, empowerment and land tenure, geopolitics and trade, and transformative agrifood systems, and emphasizes the role of young women and youth in building inclusive and resilient food systems.
